Natalie Dormer
was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. Her accomplishments
include winning an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for a Critics'
Choice Award and two Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer
was born in Reading, Berkshire. She was known in the role of Anne Boleyn, a
role she played on the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which received
acclaim from the public. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut and
was also the Duchess Of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011), and Private Lorraine in
Captain America the First Avenger (2011). After Miss Julie (2012) in the Young
Vic, was highly appreciated. Dormer received international praise and
recognition for her performances in the roles of Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on
HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The Hunger Games), that are among her most
watched films. She also voiced Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series
Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and also
voiced Onica in the TV series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). She
earned praise for her performance in the miniseries Penny Dreadful: City of
Angels (2020). Dormer was born on the 11th of February 1982 in Reading,
Berkshire (England) as the daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards.
She is also the younger sister of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
