Kat Dennings
American
actress Katherine Victoria Litwack, born June 13th in 1986. Her main roles
include Max Black on CBS' sitcom 2 Broke Girls (2011) and Darcy Lewis in Marvel
Cinematic Universe superhero films Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Love
and Thunder (2022). She has also been featured in the Disney+ miniseries Wanda
Vision (2021). Dennings' debut as an actor was in the year 2000. Her credits
include Big Momma’s House 2 (2006). Charlie Bartlett (2007). The House Bunny
(2008). Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008). Defendor (2009). Suburban
Gothic (2014). Katherine Victoria Litwack was conceived in Bryn Mawr
(Pennsylvania) on June 13 in 1986. Ellen Judith Litwack, her mother is a poet,
speech therapist and Gerald J. Litwack (her father), is a molecular
pharmacologist as well as a professor in the college. Dennings is the youngest
of five. Her family is Jewish. Dennings was born in Penn Cottage, an historic
home that was built in Wynnewood in 1694. She says it was haunted. Dennings
started her acting career in commercials when she was 9 years old. However, her
family didn't have the funds to fund formal acting training. Her first job was
as an actress in a commercial for potato chips. The commercial contained an
ingredient that was poisonous and never made it to market. In her early years
she worked as an extra to gain her SAG card.
